Banshee Tout juste sorti de prison, un voleur de haut vol s'installe dans une petite ville de Pennsylvanie, dans le comté imaginaire de Banshee, où il se fait passer pour le nouveau shérif, le vrai ayant été assassiné sous ses yeux. Personnage énigmatique fuyant les démons d'un passé tumultueux, Lucas Hood a bien l'intention de faire régner la loi dans cette ville située en plein territoire Amish, mais à sa manière.
